Graduate
Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2014 is conducted by the All India Council for
Technical Education (AICTE) at national-level for admission to post-graduate
Pharmacy courses a computer-based test.

How
to apply
Application
is completed in 3 steps:
1. Self
Registration - on the official AICTE website complete the basic registration
(as new user) which will generate a 6 digit password for further use. If paying
fees in cash then print 3 copies of the available bank challan.
2. Payment -
fees can be paid online through Credit/Debit Card or Net banking. If paying by
cash, submit the bank challan (generated at self-registration) with cash at any
SBI Branch. After successfully receiving payment a confirmation email will be
sent to you.
3.
Complete registration - Once you have received the payment confirmation email
complete the remainder of the registration by logging in

Paper
Pattern
GPAT
consists of 125 multiple choice questions to be completed in 3 hours. Correct
answers are worth 4 marks and negative marking of -1 mark for each incorrect
answer is applied.
The
exam is broadly based on 4 topics:
- Pharmaceutics
- Pharmaceutical Chemistry
- Pharmacology
- Pharmacognosy
